Natural Remedies for High Blood Pressure – Home Remedies for Hypertension

Eat fatty fish such as sardines and salmon at least three times per week. Fatty fish are the best source of omega-3 fatty acids which promote heart health.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol. Both are known to be major contributors to high blood pressure.
Avoid foods high in saturated fat and trans fat.
Make sure you get adequate amounts of essential fatty acids which are found in nuts, seeds and some cold pressed oils such as hempseed oil, olive oil and walnut oil.

High blood pressure treatment is more successful if combining a change of diet with adequate physical activity (a 30 minute cardio activity a few times a week) , healthy body weight maintenance and proper stress management.
