Eleven Things That Will Help You Maintain Youthful Skin

1) Exfoliate your skin twice a week:

2) Eat plenty of fruit:

3) Make a habit of sleeping on your back:

Although you may not have considered it, the way you choose to sleep can influence how long you are able to maintain youthful looking skin. This is because lying on your side or your stomach slowly leads to the development of wrinkles. Specifically, lying on your stomach creates creases on your forehead because of the skin being pressed against the pillow, and lying on one particular side creates wrinkles on your cheeks and chin.

 

4) Reduce your intake of refined sugar:

Several different studies now show that eating too much refined sugar might promote premature aging. The problem is that it causes something called glycation, and the proteins that result from this process can damage your cells (including your skin cells). 8) Wear strong sunscreen on a daily basis:
